Cover of Janet Jackson     I just realized that I don't have any celebrity crushes right now. I'm not sure why that is. My first celebrity crush was a young Janet Jackson. The first time I saw her on Good Times, I fell in love. The fact that she was a Jackson just made it even better.
     Over the years, there've been the usual crushes with one named women: Angelina, Halle, Madonna. However, there's no celebrity at this moment who I go crazy for. Kim Kardashian? Great body but is really boring in bed (no, I've never slept with her but her sex tape was boring as hell). Paris Hilton? Same as Kim Kardashian. Megan Fox? Seems like a great woman but honestly, she doesn't do a thing for me. The quality just doesn't seem to be there these days. Maybe it's just me.

Confidence is when you know you're good. Cockiness is when you brag about it to others. If you're good, people already know it. You carry yourself differently & it shows. There's no need to tell others how good you are because others will say it for you. You stay humble.
Cockiness doesn't actually mean that you're good. It just means that you have a big mouth. Some would call that swagger but true swagger should not mean bragging.
In sports terms, confidence would be Steve Nash & Tim Duncan in basketball. They know they're good & you know that they're going to beat you. They don't need to get in your face about it. Cockiness would be Chad Johnson a.k.a. OchoCinco in football. He brags about being the best but when it comes to making the plays in big games, he's MIA.
In terms of women, confidence would be Beyonce. Strength, talent, humility, & beauty. Cockiness would be Paris Hilton, who has none of Beyonce's qualities except maybe beauty...maybe.

Jessica Simpson Designs For Charity
