Fitting exit

Spanish coach Josep "Pep" Guardiola received a fitting exit as Barcelona claimed the Copa del Rey in a match where they dictated the tempo in a match which they nearly dominated right from the start. This was Barcelona's fourteenth trophy throughout Guardiola's four-year spell in charge of the club. In an interview the Spanish coach said that he was honoured to have coached the "best player I have ever seen and probably the best I will see." Under his reign, Barcelona have been tipped as one of the best teams there ever was, but Pep remained as humble as ever by saying that he didn't invent anything. In an interview before the match, he confirmed his reasons for leaving by saying, "I'm tired - that's why I'll stop for a while now."
