England to exploit confidence of Chelsea and Manchester City

England are hoping to use the confidence from Manchester City and Chelsea' players from their respective triumph this season. This year it was a chaotic year for the national team, with terry being accused of racism, then Capello resignation and afterwards the unexpected appointment of Roy Hodgson. However certain England players expressed their confidence from their club's triumphs this year, and are hoping that they can build England success on those triumphs. Lampard said that if determination from the Chelsea team was brought to England, then they have an excellent chance to win the Euro Championships. England are also hoping to build their defense on 3 of Chelsea's impressive defenders, these being Ashley Cole, John Terry, and Gary Cahill.

Cahill also said that this year, for him, proved to be a year to remember; not only did he transfer to a big club, but he won the Champions League and now he's representing England. He said that he's looking forward to play in the Championship and play an integral part in England success. However Chelsea's players will not play today against Norway, as Hodgson is looking to give them a rest and maybe experiment a bit some of his players. Rooney also is expected not to play in order to give a chance for an attacker, since Rooney is suspended for the first 2 games of the Euro Championships.
