Aston Villa release Heskey

Aston Villa released 3 senior and 8 academy players today. Earlier this month Heskey revealed that Aston will not give him a new contract. But Heskey still wants to play and sources are saying that he can end up to the club that gave him his first matches in the Premier League, Leicester City. The other 2 senior players that are released by Aston Villa are Carlos Cuellar and Brad Guzan. Heskey had a lot of injuries this year, and only returned to play at the last part of the season. In total with Aston he scored 15 goals from 111 appearances, and this year he only scored in August! Cuellar joined Aston Villa 5 years ago from rangers, and played a lot of defensive positions with them. Guzan was always the second goalkeeper, first to Friedel and then to Given.
