Alexander Ovechkin

Getzlaf has made steady improvement in each of his four NHL seasons. He had 14 goals and 39 points in his 2005-06 rookie year, then scored 25 and 24 goals the next two seasons before tallying 25 goals with a franchise-record 66 assists and 91 points in 2008-09. He finished tied for sixth in the NHL in points and tied for third in assists that year. Getzlaf had a team-high 17 points in 21 playoff games in 2006-07, helping the Ducks win the Stanley Cup. A two-time All-Star, Getzlaf and Pittsburgh’s Evgeni Malkin were the only players in 2008-09 to record points in eight or more consecutive games on three separate occasions.
